Chapter 2 "Stain novel"

Two months later, the light of the sunrise penetrated the window of the room, forcing Elizabeth to wake up, who spread her arms to allow her rib cage to inhale the largest amount of the morning breeze that passed through the relatively open window above her, and to renew her lungs.

She sat down, rubbed her sleepy eyes, and then looked sideways at the second bed that her cousin Savannah shared in the same room, only to find it empty. She was alone in the room. She must not have felt that Savannah got up and went for the first time in her life since she came to stay in this house awake without Savannah bothering her.

and her mother because Savannah relies on making deliberate early morning noise.

Until she is disturbed from her sleep even though it is 1:00 in the afternoon Savannah is getting ready to go to work as a nurse in a hospital.. Suddenly she is startled by a loud knock on the door of the rooms which announces that the landlord has run out of patience with the hammer and she is undoubtedly Savannah and that this is her time most of the morning

Waking up early in this house is not a right choice. It is good for health, but it is not great either. Elizabeth hastened to open the door and replied with a hoarse voice = Good morning.

Savannah stared standing at her face, suppressed in exasperation, before saying in a nervous tone declaring her indignation:

= Any morning and you made me knock on the door for ten minutes in a row all this sleep or are you doing this on purpose to make me wait a long time and feel bored to leave you alone

Elizabeth looked at the wall clock, then looked at it angrily and said

= not that but I don't mind if it's early in the morning I just like to sleep in the morning and feel good that's why I'm a little late etc why do I get up every morning without doing anything important

Elizabeth's speech angered her, and Savannah said in a sarcastic voice

= Excuse me, Hanim, because we are not like you. We have free time all the time so that we can sleep a lot and rest on an ostrich feather mattress. We have a job so that we can pay the rent and late bills.

Elizabeth pressed her lips tightly and cried

= What do you mean by this silly talk of yours, without evasive words and say it directly to my face, you mean me because I do not have a house or money right

She said firmly and her lips curled coldly and with a stern expression

= I don't want to talk much Get out of my face until I take the key to my room I don't want you to lock the door especially in the morning so I can wake you up quickly

Elizabeth looked at her with wide lips and a surprised look, as if the person standing in front of her was joking, or was she really crazy?

"Are you aware of what you want from me? I can't let you do that."

But Savannah did not pay attention to what Elizabeth said when she saw that she was taking the key in his place in the door, so she took it out immediately to shout Elizabeth objection and said disbelief

"You're really crazy. Put the key back."

She waved the key in her hand with a look of provocation and said with a sly smile

"Oh, you're going to stop me, Miss Elizabeth, but how are you going to stop me?"

And this house is his parents house and the room you put your feet in is my room..!

Elizabeth froze helplessly when she mentioned that this is her house, and that she is just a guest, nothing more in it, and she has no right to even object.

= There is one more thing you have to keep well in your head as long as you live inside my house you do not have the right to command and forbid and follow the rules of the house you live in .. and respect the people who opened their house to you instead of your time on the streets with the homeless

Elizabeth suppressed her anger and remained silent, but she could not control the tears that began to fall down her cheeks from her feeling of bitter insult inside of her.. Savannah took a few steps inward and said with her icy eyes her phone in exasperation

= Stop that childish movement and wipe away your tears. There is no place for me as weak as you in this life.. Follow me and respect the rules of the house. Breakfast is placed here once and another thing. Wash the dishes after breakfast. None of your servants are here to carry it behind you. You must forget the past and a life of luxury.

Elizabeth whispered and forcibly pulled the letters from her throat, saying in a muffled voice as she wiped her tears

= Well, I will do that now.. Go away and I will follow you shortly

After leaving Savannah, Elizabeth went to the bathtub, opened the toilet to take a shower, put a towel on her body, then went out in search of everyone, heard their voices in the kitchen, then moved hesitantly with quick steps into the room again and opened Savannah's closet

She saw a beautiful dress decorated with flowers inside the closet, and she remembered that this dress was very expensive for her, then she smiled maliciously, and a sharp pair of scissors appeared in her hand, and she approached angrily while holding the dress in her hand.

= Let's see what your face will be like now until you bother me again and tell me I don't have a house or money, you snake face.

At the bottom.

Lina finished making tea and looked at Elizabeth, who was standing leaning on the marble with her arms covered. Her mind, eyes and everything inside her was in another world. Lina chanted her name several times before Elizabeth noticed that her face was red with great anger, then she said Lina reluctantly.

= I finished making tea, please put sugar in it, take it outside and put it on the table for my husband and daughter to drink before they go to work

She furrowed her eyebrows as she stared in silence and astonishment at what she was saying, then turned to Lina, her uncle's wife, and said with a firm expression that she was tired of being enslaved by this family, as she is not used to serving anyone else, nor is she herself in the first place.

= You go and bring them tea, why me?

Lina gasped as she saw Elizabeth defying her toughness, so she cheered her up sharply

"When I say something you have to do without any argument and you have to obey me, girl."

She folded her arms in front of her chest, and Elizabeth responded firmly and insolently

= I don't want your husband and daughter to go and serve them yourself.. Why am I?

Lina's features became wild as she said in a loud voice while still carrying the tea tray

= Would you say no directly to my face?

What impudence, girl!

You don't want to serve your uncle who opened his house to take care of you instead of when you're out on the streets now looking for a morsel in the trash?

I told you to take tea for them, so do it without any discussion

Elizabeth's anger and annoyance broke out at the way everyone was talking to her and she felt she had had enough, so she screamed as she recklessly approached and pushed the tea tray that Lina was holding close to her and fell on the floor screaming

= Enough.. I'm tired enough. Will everyone always treat me this way here and reproach me for helping him? I don't want to.. and I don't allow you to talk to me like that

Lena pulled back, panting in panic.

Drops of boiling tea splashed on her, which astonished her to inhale a sharp gasp that came out of her, and she cried out in pain from the heat of the hot tea as she closed her eyes from the severity of the pain she was feeling.

"Oh, my God, my hand."

Elizabeth was shocked by what happened to her. She never believed it despite her hatred for her, but it happened unintentionally and she never thought of harming her. She swallowed her saliva with confusion and anxiety and approached hesitantly to help her.

But she stopped in her place in panic when she heard Savannah's voice chanting her name as she snarled at Elizabeth, growling with grief.

_ Oh crook you bitch.. what did you do with my dress

Then Savannah gasped to run towards him, her mother asking her, and panic filling her eyes as she screamed

_ Mom.. Mom are you okay?

What did you do to her, you idiot

Elizabeth's eyes watered and her breathing increased in fear, because she was the cause of what happened to her. Meanwhile, she was approaching Lina, trying to check on her hand that was under cold water, but Savannah's voice deterred her, shouting with hatred.

= Stay away from her. Everything that happened to her is because of you. I don't understand why my father brought you here to live with us, knowing that everyone here hates you. You are not welcome.
